Status of Shakespokes ("Shakespokes")

Formed to provide a voice for cyclists in the Stratford-upon-Avon area, Shakespokes is not a club but a group of volunteers promoting cycling for health, leisure and pleasure - seeking better conditions for cycling, safer roads, and more people on bicycles.

When we ask you to provide information it is often (but not only) to enable us to enhance your site visit, or send information on something that we believe will interest you or reply to you after your visit. This would include where you subscribe to any online newsletters or provide feedback to us through a contact form or when you complete any online competition form or survey we may offer from time to time. Using the Website

This website uses a content management system with a structure of menu tabs to enable the user to access the content easily; there is also a Site Map showing the overall structure and providing direct links to content.

Other helpful features : 

Print  Print page - in some sections a print icon is displayed at the top of the content area, clicking will print just the main content area to the user's default printer.

E-mail  e-mail - in some sections an e-mail icon is displayed at the top of the content area, clicking will open the user's e-mail client and enable the content to be e-mailed.

PDF  PDF -  in some sections a PDF button icon is displayed at the top of the content area, clicking will create a Portable Document Format (pdf) file - the user will be prompted for a file name and a Save location. See copyright notice.

Some content and resource is restricted to logged-on users only (CTC members or other authorised users).  Users that are not logged-on will see a reminder to log-on, non-members will be unable to proceed or be given alternative options. 

A variety of proprietary file formats are used including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (which will need to be installed on the user's computer) and PDF (Portable Document Format)

Most browsers will open and display PDF files automatically, if yours does not then you will need to install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.
