Shakespokes - gentle cycling

Formed to provide a voice for cyclists in the Stratford-upon-Avon area, Shakespokes is not a club but a group of volunteers promoting cycling for health, leisure and pleasure - seeking better conditions for cycling, safer roads, and more people on bicycles.

Shakespokes contributes to the Stratford-upon-Avon Cycle Forum and Sustrans

Leisure Rides

On the First and Third Sundays of each month throughout the year there are organised rides where everyone is welcome. They usually start at the American Memorial in Stratford-upon-Avon Market Place at 0930 - just turn up and join in!

There is no Shakespokes membership fee but a voluntary contribution of 50p per person, per ride goes to defray the modest costs.
